Magical Properties of Bay Leaf
Bay Leaf is a sacred, Sun-ruled herb of wishes, protection, psychic power, and success, its ancient lineage stretching from the laurel crowns of Greek gods and Roman victors to the folk magic traditions of the American South. Commanding and solar in its energy, Bay Leaf is one of the most universally recognized herbs in both kitchen witchery and formal magical practice.
In magical practice, Bay Leaf is perhaps best known for wish magic — a desire written on a Bay Leaf and burned sends the intention swiftly to the universe. Placed beneath a pillow, it is said to induce prophetic dreams and psychic visions. Carried or burned for protection, Bay Leaf creates a powerful barrier against negative energy and psychic attack. It is equally prized in success and victory workings, where its solar energy amplifies confidence, clarity, and the drive to achieve.
Use in wish magic, protection sachets, dream work, success and victory spells, or write intentions on leaves and burn to send them out into the universe.
We make no claims as to the effectiveness of Bay Leaf and sell it as a Curio only.
